First of all, we apologise for not getting our newsletter to you for a while. I hope this one makes up for that.
Our site is now one year old. Thank you to all that have supported us during that time. Hopefully we will have many more years to come. We have more ideas for the site, but it is (as always) getting the time to get it built.
** Site Update
We have added more dolls from the Alberon and Ashton Drake collections. Take a look. There are some very nice dolls. We currently have over 300 items in our catalogue.
In our last newsletter, we mentioned the flower fairies not being available straight away. They are now available and already proving popular. If you like fairies, then you will love these. These fairies are inspired by the estate of Cicely Mary Barker. http://www.collectorsdolls.com/shop/results.asp?query=fairy&nl=6
We have some fun plates from Bradford Exchange on the site. I know they are not dolls, but we thought some of you may be interested. If there is enough demand for plates like this, we will consider adding more of them to our catalogue.

We also had orders and many enquiries for Rosaleen which sold out quite early this year unfortunately. For those not aware, Rosaleen was a communion doll from Alberon with white outfit and bible. Alberon have released another doll, very similar, called Anne. This is A282 if you are interested. http://www.collectorsdolls.com/shop/results.asp?query=a282&nl=6
Ashton Drake have released some new baby dolls, by Yolando Bello. These are the "Bello Bebes". The dolls have a soft to the touch finish, weigh the same as a baby and are even scented like a baby (no, not the smelly nappies!!!). They look quite realistic.

What would you like to see on our site? One thing we are trying to do is get a community of doll collectors togethor. Something we have started is a mailing list for our doll collectors. This is Doll Talk. To join Doll Talk, just send an email to doll-talk@collectorsdolls.com with a subject of subscribe (or just click here, doll-talk@collectorsdolls.com?subject=subscribe )
Some of you may have seen our advertisement in Doll Magazine. Unfortunately, the one coming out later this month has our incorrect telephone number. (Missed a digit. Don't know who you will get if you try dialling it). Just as a reminder, our telephone number is 01793 348674
Since our last newsletter, we have tripled our subscriber base. We wish a warm welcome to all our new members.
** Would you like to earn money from CollectorsDolls.com?
We have our very own affiliate scheme where you can earn money or even dolls from us. You don't even need a website, but it will help. More details about the scheme can be seen on our website at http://www.collectorsdolls.com/club/becomeassoc.asp?nl=6
What have you got to lose?
** Christmas is coming (it's too early, I hear you cry...)
Not long to go now. Only 9 weeks to go. We are taking orders for our christmas dolls. Please be sure to order early to get your dolls in time. You can see our christmas collection at http://www.collectorsdolls.com/shop/results.asp?query=christmas&nl=6 and our winter collection at http://www.collectorsdolls.com/shop/results.asp?query=winter&nl=6 .
We can lay away a doll for you. If you are interested in our lay-away scheme, please call on 01793 348674 or email to debbie@collectorsdolls.com for more details.
** This newsletter
Do you have any interesting articles for our newsletter. We are interested in any articles that other collectors would be amused with or would like to see. Our previous newsletters can be seen online at http://www.collectorsdolls.com/club/viewnews.asp&nl=6
** Selling Dolls?
Have you dolls that you wish to sell? Do you wish to buy a doll that is not generally available now? You can sell them or put a wanted advert through our site. http://www.collectorsdolls.com/buysell?nl=6
** Help needed
Many of our subscribers have asked for identification of some of their dolls. Unfortunately, we are unable to help with many enquiries of this type. If you can help, please do. Extracts from letters of people requesting help are below. Please note, we do not have the time or knowledge to answer all your queries about dolls that you are trying to identify.
We will try and set up a forum where you can ask for help to identify a doll, but you could also ask in our doll-talk mailing list, mentioned above.
If you have knowledge of the dolls below, will we do our best to pass that knowledge on. Better still, if you could answer in the mailing list, it would save us many hours trying to match answers with peoples questions. We may even put the answers in our next newsletter. Below are some of the letters/emails we have received.
